How to increase business results, sales and success, and Guarantee
"If you want to be happy, set a goal that commands your thoughts, free your energy and inspires your hopes." Andrew Carnegie
The following techniques, when applied consistently, are guaranteed to be successful in achieving greater business success, increasing sales and personal success. Consistency is key. Be specific and realistic. Practicing these techniques every day. These are the same strategies I applied in 1995, when I wanted to get into business language. I was skeptical and wondered if these techniques really work. In 1996 I was speaking in Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales as an international speaker. My point is not to brag about. My point is that if you want to practice diligently the following statements, views and action steps, you will attract more commercial success and personal success. These strategies can work for everyone from salespeople, business owners, entrepreneurs and executives, managers, supervisors and team leaders. The first step is to believe. Do you think you can do.
When writing the statements for your goals, start with different colored cards. For example, green for financial and professional goals, yellow for the health / fitness, relationships, and pink for blue cards for spiritual goals. Using different colors sends a visual signal to the brain that you are setting goals in various areas of your life.
Do not have more than nine statements or objectives for all categories total at any time. You do not want to become overloaded and give up before you've even begun. On the front of each card, write the words "I am". These are the 2 most important words when writing statements for your goals. Make sure that every statement incorporates the "3 P" 1) Personal 2) Present Tense 3) Positive
Personal: Your statements should only apply to you, because you can not change others. Therefore, it would have a statement, declaring: "I am happily enjoying my daughter's room clean." I do not know if your daughter is clean to your specifications. You get the point. You could write: "I am enjoying my bed is made and my room is cleaned every morning."
Present Tense: make your statements to this. For example, "I am happily enjoying increased sales by more than 7% over 2005." Tell, write, and feel as if it were already happening. How does it feel to have already achieved this goal? The sensation of feeling "as if" you're already living your dream is printed indelibly in your subconscious mind, and makes you more likely to achieve it.
Positive: keeping it positive, you also give your mind a "flying" for the direction you want to move. For example, would not have written, "I'm having fun do not eat more sweets." What could be written, however, is "I'm having to eat at least one salad a day." Your mind now has direction.
After beginning with "I", include a "feeling" word and a word "action" or a verb. This is vital because, as stated before, the feeling generated helps you achieve your goals faster. Examples of words, feeling happily, easily, happily. My statement in 1995 to enter the business of language was: "I am happily conducting speaking commitments around the world." The words "happily conductive" in the present time has helped me with what you would want to live and to be already acheiving this goal.
Be specific with both business and personal goals of success and include action steps. Goals are nothing without action. Also, write a specific term for each statement. In what month and what year you have reached this goal? For example, on the front of the card index in my claim to speak all over the world that I wrote, "England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Hawaii, Alaska, and St. Thomas in December 1996." Those were the specific places where I wanted to talk, and that was my deadline.
I kept them green cards on my nightstand, in my wallet and my bathroom mirror. The reason ... Your unconscious mind is more susceptible to suggestion first and last thing in the morning hours before going to bed. I would like to see these positive affirmations for my goals every morning upon waking and last thing at night before you go. After one week, my mind began to come up with steps "action" for how to achieve these objectives. These measures have been written on the back of the card. I started to take action, such as the production of a video to speak before a group, and the display of success.
In December 1999, I conducted seminars and breakout sessions for conferences in all these places. These techniques do not work if they work. Look at your statements and objectives at least twice a day. Close your eyes and visualize them as already happened. Generates feelings and emotions.
What does it feel to be already able to run your own business or looking out at San Martino from the balcony of a cruise to the Caribbean? How would you feel to be recognized as the number one sales in your organization, in addition to receiving a big bonus check? How would you feel walking down the aisle at your wedding?
Having the right attitude. Do you think you can achieve your goals. Consider yourself and get rid of excuses why you can not do anything. A word of cuation: be careful with whom to share your aspirations and dreams. The key is to surround themselves with supportive people.
Finally, have a plan of action and act. Goals are nothing without action.
