Came fast and furious 5
The Fast and the Furious saga, which saw the light in 2001, has established itself as a strong franchise of action and motorsports. And while the five films to date are quite irregular with each other, we must recognize the merit of always delivering octane chases, voluptuous girls, fast-paced action and lots of testosterone.
This fifth follow the path of the previous tape (2009), brings back to the double star (Vin Diesel and Paul Walker) and adds interesting elements to refresh the franchise. On the one hand we have Dwight "The Rock" Johnson, who plays a police headed muscle fun, and secondly, the attractive location of Rio de Janeiro, where the plot unfolds. Clearly, this river has nothing to do with the animated film.
The plot is not important. Rather, it is an excuse to repeat the modus operandi of the previous films, that is, to put together a team to perform a blow-for our anti-heroes confront the forces of the place. In this case, the very corrupt Rio police, bribed by HernĂ¡n Reyes villanesco (De Almeida).
The rest is what is expected of these tapes. Many fight hand to hand, macho dialogue, sports racers and car chases close to caricature. In this sense, the sequence of heroes vault by dragging a Brazilian streets must be of the best action scenes on four wheels of the last time. But perhaps best of all, the film does not take itself seriously. And that is appreciated.
Again the hand of Taiwanese director Justin Lin, Fast and Furious 5 shows that it still has gasoline in the saga. Although not too much.
Fast and Furious 5Dir.: Justin Lin. With Vin Diesel and Paul Walker. Action. 125 min. USA, 2011.
