Business Networking - 60 Second Spot
In more structured networking groups, each member is given 60 seconds at the beginning of the meeting for a "commercial". There are two main purposes of this brief presentation:
1. To educate those who are not familiar with your marketing message and the basic
2. To educate and motivate your partner, who are part-time sales staff.
The first time you join a network group and when there are guests in a chapter meeting, you want to use the first 30 seconds of your business to send the message based marketing, or "elevator speech". Even if only your colleagues are, you want to return to this discussion from time to time to refresh their memories.
You can use the remaining 30 seconds of your 60-second commercial:
1. To teach your partner anything new members of your company,
2. To ask them for help with a specific marketing objective,
3. To share a testimony or a story about the ways in which your customers have contributed,
4. To identify the lead or partner for reference.
When you are satisfied that your partner of choice to know the message based marketing and no visitors in the room, you can use the full 60 seconds to one of the four themes mentioned above. Testimonials are a particularly effective way to educate the members. Remember, the facts tell but stories sell. It 's amazing how easily the stories are remembered and told by a partner of someone they know and can refer you.
When asking for help for your business 60/2, be as specific as possible. "I would like to meet with the head of the department to transfer to XYZ Company", is more likely to get an answer, "I'd like to meet anyone involved with the relocation of workers." Someone in the room might know an executive of company XYZ, which could present to the head of the department transfer. It 's less likely that someone can know the head of a department of relocation.
Finish your business with a catchy slogan that incorporates humor or alliteration and is therefore easy to remember. Anything that makes it easy to remember, while your colleagues go about their daily lives increase the likelihood that they recognize and seize an opportunity for reference .......
