CD For Kids

If you're looking for a gift idea for your child this year, I have a suggestion: make him a CD player. Sure, most of the music media is digital, but you should [or should in general] to pay for it. And even if you have a problem with downloading music, is a great way to open up to viruses. And there are a lot of CD players fresh for the kids out there.

I'm pretty easy to find. You can get them really cheap at your local Wall Mart for less than twenty dollars. I must say, though, that even if the really cheap "generic brands" do the job, they are not going to work for a long time. So I suggest you go with Sony or Panasonic. I've tried the cheaper brands, and each time I end up kicking myself, because they end up breaking about a month or two in it, especially if I use them much.

If I were you, I'd really try to get one that has an alarm on it, especially if they are a bit 'bigger (not really a teen, but not a child). If you are in school, what better way to accompany him to wake up with a little 'of his favorite songs?

The other reason that CD players for children are a great idea in my opinion is the library. Have you seen the CD collection in most libraries? It 'huge. I believe that as we increasingly "digitized" in our society, even to someone in the library can be a great company. I spend a lot of time there, and for my money, is still a great place to learn .......
