Queer theory is a hypothesis about gender that says that sexual orientation and gender identity or gender of the people are the result of a social construct and that, therefore, there is no essential or biological gender roles inscribed in the nature man, but socially variable ways to play one or more sexual roles.

Accordingly, Queer Theory (TQ) rejects the classification of individuals in universal terms like "homosexual", "heterosexual", "man" or "woman", arguing that they hide a huge number of cultural variations, none of which would be more fundamental or natural than the others. Against the classical concept of gender, distinguishing the "heterosexual" socially acceptable (in English straight) of the "anomalous" (queer), Queer Theory states that all social identities are equally anĂ³malas.Contra traditional classifications critical Queer Theory social classifications of psychology, philosophy, sociology, anthropology and traditional, usually based on the use of a single standard is Segmentation, social class, gender, race or any other, and argues that social identities are made more complex as the intersection of multiple groups, streams and criteria.
